Hello, Hello, Hello! I am venturing into the wide and unknown world of blogging — at least it is unknown for me! I am not actually too sure how it is all going to turn out but I am hoping for the best!

Each week, I will post my family’s weekly menu. You will see that there are good nights, leftover nights, and no-so-good nights. We follow the 80/20 rule in regards to how we eat!! My goal with my weekly menu posts is to inspire you in two ways. First, I would love love love for you to start planning a weekly menu for your family – whether that is one person, two people or ten people. Whatever the size, you are a family!
Pretty please with a cherry on top start small with this but keep at it! To me, this is one of the most important things you can do for your family. I know, I know. Who has time to sit down and write a menu for the week. Well, you have to make time. Cumulatively, you will spend just as much time during the week stressing about what your going to “nuke” in the microwave each night as you would planning the week all at one time. You might as well just take the plunge all at once and plan your menu in one sitting. Trust me on this one. You will plan a healthier menu AND even better, decrease your stress level every night. Who wants to stress every day about what to serve the kids and then follow that up with the guilt of not putting something super yummy and inviting on the table. The family meal is UBER IMPORTANT so taking this time so key!
There are thousands of nutrition bloggers out there and I hope that as I get better and better at blogging, you will check in each week to see how things are going and get inspired to try new things. My weekly menu can become your weekly menu. Follow it in full or use bits and pieces of it. Whatever works for you….Enjoy!
I use several key smart phone applications, Big Oven and Grocery IQ, that I love. I will discuss those more in another post. These will make you much more efficient at creating your menu. Yes, you will spend some time setting them up but it so worth the time…and you will feel so tech savvy along the way.
