What’s Cookin’ Week of May 19th
Last week was a BLURR!! Tyler was sick on Tuesday….Mom was sick from Wednesday to Sunday (today!!). This is the first day that I could even fathom thinking about cooking. Luckily, I had done a good deal of preparation early in the week with a friend on a “Cooking and Food Photography Day” for a business coming soon to a website near you and the rest of the world!!…so I was prepared and we actually were able to follow last week’s menu. I only ate about 1 of the meals but that was about all I could do.
Coming up this week, I travel to NashVegas for some media training with the Southeast Diary Association so we will have some easy meals that I know will make leftovers!
Meal 2: Crock Pot Honey Sesame Chicken served with steamed broccoli and basmati rice
Meal 3: Baked Glazed Salmon (our grill is broken!) glazed with Chinese Southern Belle My Sweet Hottie Glaze which a customer at Wholefoods told me was her absolute must-have in the kitchen glaze…and it is “Georgia Grown”. Serve with Kale chips and roasted carrots and couscous with edamame, olive oil and parmesan.
