What’s Cookin’ Week of September 16th

Wow!  I am not sure where to start but I am not a huge into writing long blogs so let’s just say our trip to NYC was absolutely perfect.  My daughter, Ava, and I spend Friday and Saturday eating our way through every sweet treat, seeing Lion King and the Statue of Liberty, hanging with Aunt Lacey, Aunt Courtney, and Grandma Baradel, doing girlie things at Aunt Courtney’s baby shower in Hoboken, visiting the American Girl Doll Store, riding on a horse and buggy in Central Park, loving the toys in FAO Schwartz, etc, etc!  It was JAM PACKED WITH SO MUCH TO DO!!

What’s Cookin Week of September 19th

Meatless Monday:  Spinach and Cheese Ravoili with steamed broccoli and shoe string carrots

Tuesday: Slow Cooker Chicken Enchilada Soup from Slender Kitchen served with homemade cornbread and side salad with lots of raw veggies and salsa as my dressing

Wednesday: Asian Salmon with Parmesan and Peas Risotto with side of steamed green beans

Thursday:  Sesame Chicken from Slender Kitchen served with basmati rice and edamame beans

Friday:  Big Potluck Party at our house for second grade families at my kids school

Saturday:  Leftovers!

Sunday: Tyler’s 5th Bday Party at Sparkles Skating Rink…kids will have pizza there and Mom and Dad are on their own….sounds like leftovers to me!!  I am sure we have plenty after a whole week of cooking!
